The Tangrin can be soloed. Once he is slowed with [[Forlorn Deeds]], use [[Trooper Taer]] with [[Boltran's Agacerie]], [[Visions of Grandeur|VOG]], and [[Boon of the Garou]] will dominate the fight finishing the fight with more than 50% HP. However, if charm breaks and The Tangrin summons you and lands his 20 second stun it will prevent you from recharming and it could mean instant death, so it is recommended to bring friends if possible. 

--- We could not charm Trooper Taer today. Tashed by a level 60 enchanter, he would resist everything but [[Rapture]]. He conned blue to a 53 bard, so he's not too high for [[Boltran's Agacerie]] (see Discussion[https://wiki.project1999.com/Talk:The_Tangrin]).

--- Above note does not seem true, at least not anymore. Was able to land [[Glamour of Kintaz]] and [[Boltran's Agacerie]] on Trooper Taer just fine after tash at 60 while The Tangrin was up (8/26/19).

--- Was able to charm Taer as soon as he popped but about 10mins later seemed to be practically immune to charm.  It appears there is a short window for charm on Taer when Tangrin pops.

--- Duoed by a 60 Necro & 60 Sham w/ torp. Sham ripped with malo to the bluff above the beach and tanked. Both loaded dots w/ spectre pet dps. 100% of fear attempts were resisted --- (7/6/2020)

--- Soloed by a 60 Enc pulled Tear with Tash, Rapture at Island next to Tangrin, 2 Boltran resists, on 3rd Landed, Hasted and engaged. --- (8/13/2022)

--- It is also possible to kill with [[Pendle Dashinger]] charmed and buffed, receiving chain [[Complete Heal|Complete Heals]] from a [[Cleric]]. The nice thing about this pet, is that he can be held with [[Allure]], which lasts significantly longer than [[Boltran's Agacerie]].
