Flaming Sword of Xuzl

Kunark Era (added 2000-2001)

Conjures a flaming sword that attacks your target until either it, or the target, is dead. Sounds impressive, but when you consider the fact that the flaming sword has 1 hp you begin to realize how much this spell sucks. Sword does 22 damage max per round and somehow is an aggro magnet. Don't expect to get much out of this 700 mana sinkhole.

Some wizards use this spell, plus a reclaim energy item, as an extra reserve mana battery. Situationally useful. Note: This is bad advice and never works or pays off in the end.

Wizard pro tip: Eye of Zomm and Halo of Light are effective ways to level your conjuration skill!
